The Family Support Centre team is comprised of very experienced professionals, both male and female, with different backgrounds in the Dutch, Moroccan, Afghan, Turkish and Kurdish culture and customs and in Islam.
Between them, they speak no less than fourteen languages and have extensive experience in many subjects including radicalisation, domestic violence, youth care, honour-related violence, inter-cultural assistance, crisis care, criminal law, criminology and international politics.
To ensure the Family Support Centre employees have the most topical knowledge, experience and methodologies in the area of jihadism, radicalisation and family support, they regularly receive intensive training in both the Netherlands and abroad.
Furthermore, the Family Support Centre works with specialised theologians, Islam scholars, political scientists, administrators and religious scholars. We also have with a network of expert therapists and psychologists that can offer you more specialised support, should you would want that.
